About Ilana
Ilana Sztaimberg is a researcher, storyteller, and project leader exploring how public information, practical technology, and close observation can help people build stronger relationships with nature and place.
Her work sits between field notes and systems thinking. She researches local landscapes, translates complex information, builds useful public tools, and creates stories that help people see where they live with more attention and agency.
Ilana brings more than twenty years of experience across digital product and program management, strategic communications, community engagement, healthcare, brand growth, and experiential work. She is especially interested in ecoregions, native plants, seed access, heat adaptation, biodiversity, and the civic infrastructure that helps communities care for place.
Technology—including AI—is part of her toolkit when it improves access, organization, or understanding. The goal is never technology for its own sake. The goal is a clearer relationship between people, information, and the living world.
Experience that travels
Before turning her focus toward nature and climate work, Ilana led and supported complex initiatives for organizations including Morgan Stanley and E*TRADE and worked across regulated communications, digital experiences, stakeholder programs, and creative production.
